Shady Lines.
Sophia decides to pack her bags and head to Sicily, while the girls try to put the pieces together and figure out exactly what happened at Shady Pines.
I'll start with a positive: at least this wonderful sixth series doesn't conclude with this drivel-there's one more episode to come, and from the description, it looks like a good one, unlike this episode.
Part two is much the same as part one: an almost nonsensical story, padded out with a string of flashbacks and sequences that don't even hang together particularly well.
I don't for the life of me understand why they didn't just cut the series down to 24 episodes-a shorter, punchier run would have worked far better.
It's interesting to see how the girls changed with time-the fashions and hairstyles-but that's about the only enjoyment.
Sophia's side story just didn't work. If it had been another "oh, it was all a dream" episode, it may have just worked.
4/10.

- TriviaLast episode lighted by Alan Keath Walker.
- GoofsThe police case against Sophia rests entirely on the "deathbed confession" of Mrs. Hargrove. With certain limited exceptions, statements by a witness who is unavailable to testify at trial are inadmissible hearsay, even if given under oath. A criminal defendant has an absolute right to face and cross-examine any witness called against them, and any testimony that does not allow for cross-examination can't be used. The Hargrove confession would have been ruled inadmissible at the first hearing and the case dismissed.
