    A definite favourite of mine.

The girls have a visitor coming to celebrate her birthday with them, only Sophia's forgotten to bake Roberta's cake, the girls take a trip down Memory lane, remembering various birthday incidents.

My joint favourite episode this series, it's an out and out scream fest, and it's equally as moving. They only recently had a memory lane episode, that was great, this one's even better. It's that good, I had to watch it twice.

Dorothy's birthday segment is one of the funniest things I've seen for white some time, the whole sequence is genuinely one of the show's best moments, the look on Arthur's face throughout is magical,

Rose's segment is a little sad, her at home, it's exactly as I've pictured it, White's monologue is tremendous.

Seeing a younger Dorothy and Sophia, not something I ever thought I'd see, quality. Great to see a different aspect of their wonderful relationship. That set is horrendous though.

    Brilliant.

    10/10.

    • Goofs
Sophia carefully takes a cake pan out of the oven using oven mitts and then carries it into the living room. When she places it on the end table she holds it with her bare hands while placing the mitts on the table under the cake pan.

Sophia Petrillo: I think my milestone birthday was when I turned 50.

Dorothy Zbornak: Oh, Ma, I remember your 50th. We were supposed to go to a party at Guido's, but you were fighting with Pop.

      Sophia Petrillo: Oh, yeah.

Dorothy Zbornak: Oh, I'll never forget it. It was Brooklyn, April, 1956.

      Sophia Petrillo: Dorothy.

      Dorothy Zbornak: Yes?

Sophia Petrillo: I tell the stories around here. Picture it: Brooklyn, April, 1956...
