    Funny and moving.

When Sophia's latest best friend dies, Dorothy starts looking at her mother's own mortality, and decides to take her mother to Disneyland, Rose and Blanche collaborate on a children's book.

A thoroughly enjoyable episode, very funny, very moving, it's further evidence of how far ahead if its time this show was. Dorothy is desperate for some quality mother and daughter time, but Sophia is keen to ride Space Mountain, some great scenes between the pair.

It's a wonderfully sentimental episode, and having recently lost my father, it hit home, that moment where Dorothy talks about staring at Sophia to keep an imagine in her mind, that really resonated with me.

Lots of funny one liners and sarcastic glances, favourite scene had to be Sophia in the bar, she was glorious.

    8/10.

    • Trivia
According to Golden Girls Forever, writer Robert Bruce said Bea Arthur came over to him one morning during a run through for this episode, and asked "Robert, do you think I'm doing a good job?" He told her "You're doing a great job! Why do you ask?" Bea explained that Dorothy and Sophia's relationship was a lot like the relationship she had with her own mother, and so this episode meant a lot to her.
    • Goofs
When Rose hands Blanche the book of Norwegian fairy tales, it has a floral book cover with no writing on it. However, Blanche reads the title of the book from the book cover, even though there's no writing on it. ** No, there is writing on it. It's faint, but you can clearly see it.

Dorothy Petrillo Zbornak: [laughs while showing old slides of the family] Pop was sure a lousy photographer. Who is that?

      Sophia Petrillo: Uncle Vittorio.

Dorothy Petrillo Zbornak: His head's cut off. How can you tell?

Sophia Petrillo: Because that's exactly how he looked in the morgue when he turned in state's evidence against Benny the Blade.
