Trivia

Sophia's Wedding: Part 1

The Golden Girls

Edit
Quentin Tarantino appears as an Elvis impersonator, he's in the second row wearing a cream colored jacket and black shirt. He later said the residuals he earned from doing the episode helped fund his movie "Reservoir Dogs".
The exterior shot used for Max Weinstock's house in Brooklyn is the same house used for the Manero's in Saturday Night Fever.
Estelle Getty and Jack Gilford shared a birthday: July 25th, Gilford was born in 1908 and Getty was born in 1923.
Quentin Tarantino says he played the real Elvis. All of the others were "Fake Elvis'" or the "Sellout Elvis"
Jack Gilford (Max Weinstock) died just 8 months after this episode aired, in June 1990 from stomach cancer. He was 81. Gilford and Rue McClanahan (Blanche) previously both starred in the short-lived TV series "Apple Pie" (1978).
