    Romancing The Girls.

The girls are super excited to learn that charming and charismatic actor Patrick Vaughn is in town playing in the local theatre, they're all keen to play his leading lady.

Cracking episode, this is such a funny watch, the girls are all on great form, they're all in love, unfortunately it's with the same man.

Plenty of funny sequences, it all kicks off with Sophia in her outfit, and they continue the whole way through. The sequences on the stage were so funny.

Credit to Lloyd Bochner, he was terrific as the flirtatious Casanova of the piece, he clearly had an eye for The Ladies, and a lot of energy. What a fabulous speaking voice, as smooth as silk.b

    Very funny.

    8/10.

    • Trivia
In 1986 Rue McClanahan costarred in a production of "Picnic," the play this episode spoofs, filmed for Showtime.
    • Goofs
When Phyllis Hammerow walks on stage with a hand fan, she gives a quick flick of her wrist to open it, but the fan quite noticeably splits in half. She goes on ignoring it (although a couple of studio audience members laughed), and in the next shot the fan is opened and unbroken, which probably means that the break wasn't supposed to be a joke.

[Sophia has been employed at Captain Jack's Seafood Shanty resturant and is wearing her pirate uniform]

Rose: Sophia, is that a Captain Jack's Seafood Shanty uniform?

Sophia: No, Rose. I'm off to discover the Straits of Magellan. Yo ho!
