    Paula Kelly as Dr. Kelly

"Where Have All the Doctors Gone?" guest stars Paula Kelly as Dr. R.A. Kelly, the only physician left in the project, treating a recent bout of the flu. Only Penny seems to be getting weaker, but a visit to Dr. Kelly puts Florida's fears at ease, taking care of the child while Willona is out of town. When her symptoms become worse, Florida implores the reluctant doctor to make an urgent house call, which she finally does. Her first prescription failed to work against the virus, so she stays at the Evans home to make certain that Penny improves. This is enough for Dr. Kelly to reconsider leaving the ghetto, the place where she felt she'd be needed most.
