Last appearance of Adam Wade as Frank Mason

"Willona's New Job" finds an ecstatic Willona receiving a promotion to buyer at the boutique, as old flame Frank Mason (Adam Wade, introduced in "Willona's Mr. Right") returns to make another pitch to marry her. Too proud to give up a job that she loves just to be his wife, Willona encounters a new boss at work, Frank buying the boutique and installing her as the new manager. A whale of an argument results in her going home and getting fired. After reflection Frank decides to pull out of the boutique, ensuring that Willona get her job back. This and the following episode featured the curious absence of Jimmie Walker as JJ. There would be no further appearances for Adam Wade's Frank Mason.

    • Trivia
The second and final appearance of the character of Frank Mason. Wilona never mentions him again nor is it explained what happened to him since he did mention that he was moving to Chicago. And considering they were in love with each other -it's odd that he would just disappear like he never existed. One has to think that the producers must have decided to scrap that story-line and just write him off like he never existed.
