    Had the potential...

    But did not take full advantage of it. So shame. The basic lot line was promising, with this unusual story of a war correspondent behaving in a very particular manner. This could have been treated in a far better way than a comedy, rather a drama, for instance the tale of a cynical and ruthless correspondent being a coward and taking advantage of the other's work. The screenplay chose to make it fun, to make audiences feel sympathy for the lead character. It's a choice but I expected something different. A missed opportunity.
