    Excellent spy thriller

Gig Young and Everett Sloan excel in this Cold War spy thriller. Supporting cast is outstanding as well. Ending has a good twist. Sloan plays an espionage agent trying to gain intelligence for his country. He is employed by the U. S. Department of Defense. Gig Young is a new hire that Sloan feels may be supplanting him. But his superiors deny any connection with the younger man. The paranoia of the elderly spy in this story is palpable. For a story that is clearly a product of its time, it certainly held my attention. If you enjoy Twilight Zone or Hitchcock series, this episode is highly recommended.
