The executioner is like Frank Langella. Talk about charming i always did like him. Point of fact i always did like the villians. I found this on DVD but i always watched the VHS. Was always a good one. Aside from the haunted masks this was one of the better Goosebumps in the series. The others were pretty close to stupid.
Sue and Eddie are stuck in what seems to be an uncharted castle that has History and some clever scares.
The episode has some nice thrills, and the props and the costume designs are really good to see, the costumes look well-made and presented and the story is fun and imaginative. The episode has some Stella moments and doesn't lack Charm.
However the patterns of play get old, and the scares aren't as impressive here as most episodes of Goosebumps but the effects team have worked hard here to create a fun adventure that passes the time well. But the pacing issues are slightly apparent here so it gets a high score. It's fun, it's charming, but it's far from the best.
Part 1 gets an 7.55, Second gets an 7.05 So good so far. Decent Story.

"A Night in Terror Tower" is the 27th book in the Goosebumps franchise and was adapted into a two part episode in 1996. The two main protagonists Eddie brother and Sue who are siblings are on vacation in the town of London visit a castle called "Terror Tower" where they hear the story of Prince Edward and Princess Susannah (who was revealed to be them near the end). But when they were accidentally left behind by the tour group, they are chased by a man known as the Lord High Executioner who wants to take back to their original time and execute them.
This episode is one of my favorite episodes from Goosebumps, and what I like about this episode is that the plot was very good just like the book (which I haven't read, but I listen to the audiobook), the exterior was fantastic, this episode (and the book) was set in London, England, and England is one of the best countries, and the end credits theme used a medieval vacation of the Goosebumps theme.

My favourite Goosebumps book and episode! I always did love a good medieval time-travel story, and R. L. Stine did well with his spin on the 15th-century mystery of the "Princes in the Tower".
Having been to the filming location Casa Loma in Toronto as a kid (though the episode is set in London, England), it's neat to recognize so much of the castle like the stairwell, the tunnel and the courtyard.
Props to the non-UK actors for their convincing accents.

As a kid this one always creeped me out! Gotta love terror tower. As an adult, I'm confused as to how a grown man was knocked over by a light tap from a mannequin hand.

- TriviaThe Castle that portrays Terror Tower in London is actually Casa Loma Castle located in Toronto, Canada. In the episode, it was supposedly built in medieval times. However, the real castle was constructed in 1914.
