Synopsis

  • Belle Ainesly rides into town after 3 years absence. Seems she ran off with an unsavory character 3 years ago, and all of Dodge feels she's a "bad" woman. She now says she left that scoundrel, left him in Durango, and is coming back to stay at the family ranch, even though her pa is known for being hard on his daughters when they were growing up. Next thing you know, Belle is bringing her younger sister Phyllis into town to stay at the Dodge House, seems she doesn't want Phyllis staying at the ranch. Why not? The plot continues to unfold...... This episode is #191 in the series, and you can see how the characters of Matt, Chester, Kitty & Doc have developed. Even in this still half hour format, there is time to have a few scenes of Chester bothering Doc, or Kitty having coffee with Matt, etc. Great show, still in B&W at this point in 1960.
