Virginia Capers (from A Raisin in the Sun to Ferris Bueller's Day Off), and Richard Ney (he became a Wall Street expert and best-selling author, banned from the Johnny Carson Show) do excellent jobs, and are known for much beyond this work. But, Director Richard Donner is another level of twist - he of The Omen,. Superman. Lethal Weapon fame - and married to Laura Shuler Donner, of X Men, You've Got Mail, Free Willy, Mr. Mom, St. Elmo's Fire fame. Layers of genius in this episode. A great watch, in a great series!

Paladin is at his finest with the gambler who is magnificent - interplay & dialog is fantastic.
