The Fortress upheld by a full size "four warriors Army" and a phony spearmen against a hundreds Barbarian Army!!!

Following Hercules series conceptive formula on humor oriented is wisely expose when Iolaus and Hercules are fishing with spears at waterfall, Iolaus gets smallest but numerous fishes instead Hercules gets the biggest ones but just a few, Ialaus claiming victory due he gets more fishes, which Hercules replays the quality is better, soon they headed to a nearby village to eaten something, there a special villain an old acquaintance of us in so many action pictures Brian Thompson plays a heartless Goth who killed a man, Hercules and Iolaus already knowing that Goth is looking for several crimes decides taken him to Athens to be judge properly.

However Goth has a powerful barbarian army coming at Naxos, soon as can both hasten toward Athens, at sundown they looking for a shelter finding a Fortress almost forsaken, suddenly appears a beauty girl Elora that stayed there just to take care of her old father Charidon the brave in chains, they lock up Goth in a dungeon meanwhile set free the old warrior, soon the Goth's barbarian army leading by Bedar arrives with a true menace a powerful gun, they siege the fortress aiming for release Goth and kill Hercules and Iolaus.

Usual episode on those mystic ancient era, here who steals the show is the drunkard Charidon an older and weaker man, he gets the best humouresque sequences, Iolaus also has chance to appear in high style in a duel with the ferocious Goth hand by hand aside all contrived actions and some cheap trickery carried out by Hercules the episode is enjoyable, without forget the gorgeous Elora and her hidden past that will suprise all us.

    Thanks for reading.
