A Politician Wants To Drain The Swamps

Gomez backs Sam Hilliard for councilman.

A funny episode with some witty satire on politics. Character actor Allyn Joslyn plays Hilliard. Hilliard promises to not only drain the swamps but put in more street lights. Morticia wants to keep the swamp land and the streets gloomy. Gomez tells her that politicians never keep their promises so all the Addams campaign for Hilliard. One of the funniest moments is Uncle Fester singing a campaign song and lighting up a light bulb.
