    The Butler's Ball

Lurch doesn't want to go the Butler's Ball because he can't dance.

One of the best and funniest Lurch episodes. The family all try to help him learn to dance. Wednesday shows him some ballet moves, some big laughs with Lurch in leotards. Morticia teaches him the twist, but his back goes out. He is straightened out on the rack. Gomez teaches him to tango. More funny moments when you see Lurch's suit for the dance.

    • Trivia
Lurch's costume was a 'Little Lord Fauntleroy' suit. The 1888 book of that title was so popular and depicted the clothes in such detail that the style became a major fashion trend.
    • Goofs
When Lurch is sitting all alone on the chairs at the dance and the cowgirl walks up he thinks she's going to pick him to dance however she walks past him and takes the hand of the astronaut to dance with. But in the previous shot of the whole dance floor the astronaut was already dancing with someone.

Gomez: Pugsley, take your toad out of here. Things like this upset him.
