    A quality early episode.

A visitor from Ireland known as Llian arrives at Camelot warning of local attacks from a group of Pirates. A message arrives explaining that an attack is occuring nearby, Arthur and his team set off, leaving Sir Lancelot and Guinevere alone.

This is easily the best of the earliest bunch of episodes, I think this was the one that got me hooked. It's very well plotted, it's well paced, and that opening sequence is pretty brutal, and Camelot really is placed in serious danger, that would not often be the case.

Sir Lancelot is also shown as being less than 100% perfect, even The Great Knight himself is capable of letting his guard down and making a large faux pas.

Some good action sequences here, there's a pretty good authenticity about this one, The buys and that ship look spot on.

Noel Purcell is just great as Llian, what a talented actor, with a great voice, and a real presence, he stand out it's fair to say.

    8/10.

Lancelot sports a hairstyle right out of Euro-American mid 20th century. And no facial hair. Most of the men throughout the series had varying degrees of facial hair, bit Lancelot looked more like the Man From Uncle Robert Vaughn.
