    Father and son

I really enjoyed this episode as to why I'm not sure but I think it's because Wesley has joined the team and fits in well. Sorry but Doyle didn't seem to belong and was kind of a bit sleazy towards Cordelia, so I don't think he'll be missed that much.

It's good having the Angelus flashbacks to remind us how evil Angel really was and how far he has come.

Cordelia and Wesley really do have some great funny lines and I think that's what makes this season really good. As others have pointed out with Kate, there was certainly a connected between Angel and her and yea was disappointed with how that turned out.

    • Trivia
The script was originally called "The Killer I Created", until a detailed summary appeared online, prompting Tim Minear to alter the title. "I went on to the Buffy message board... changed the title and said it was about dreams and about horrible things that you do in your sleep, which completely fooled the fans," says Minear.
    • Goofs
When breaking into Penn's apartment, Wesley tries to invite Angel in, only to have Angel tell him that he can just walk in to another demon's home without an invite. As a former watcher, Wesley would already know this and not have attempted the invite to begin with.

Wesley Wyndam-Pryce: When I saw this story today it rang chillingly familiar. So I reacquainted myself with certain facts, confirming, I'm sorry to say, my grim suspicions. In the late 1700s it was Angelus' custom to 'sign' his victims by carving a Christian cross into their left cheek. He liked to let people know he'd been there.

Cordelia: Okay, you get to leave now. - You're not gonna come in here and accuse Angel like this.

      Wesley Wyndam-Pryce: Cordelia...

Cordelia: No! I don't care how many files you have on all the horrible things he did back in the powdered wig days! - He is good now. And he's my friend. And nothing you or anyone else can say will make me turn on a friend!

      Angel: [From the shadows] Cordelia.

      [Wesley and Cordy turn around]

      Angel: He's right.

Cordelia: [to Wesley] You'll stake him and I'll cut his head off.
