Very interesting topic, ahead of its time.

Yes, what a true interesting story, telling us the fraffic of medicine products and monitored by a former British protectorate which wants to discredit England by providing fake stuff with poison inside. Very modern topic for its time, but not only. This tale gives a kind of geo political approach with, as settings, the former British colonial empire. Amusing scene whith Steed reading stock market newspaper whilst Cathy Gale gets out the shower booth.

A very well written, clever storyline.

A manufacturer of pharmaceutical and beauty products requires the help of The Avengers, their products are being bootlegged, and costing the business a fortune. Cathy goes undercover at the firm, losing as an efficiency expert.

Malcolm Hulke did it once again, this is a brilliantly written episode, it's so imaginative, so unlike any other episode that came before or after.

What starts off as a simple tale of corporate misdeeds, soon turns into something a lot more serious, it is so well crafted. Cathy's involvement here is cleverly woven in, it truly was the era of efficiency, time and motions.

It has a couple of surprises, a few twists and turns, with the overall villain of the piece coming as something of a surprise.

We live in a world of knock offs and immigration goods, so this definitely has a relevance even today.

Harold Innocent was very good, suitably creepy and sinister, Peter Barkworth

Lots of good scenes here, loved seeing Steed posing as the buyer from Reykjavik, he clearly had a bit of fun there, Cathy enjoying her sauna and shower, that was way more sexualised than would have been the norm at the time.

    8/10.
