Pappy sarcastically questions himself as the Queen Mother. At that time in the war King George VI was still alive as well as his mother, then Queen Mother Queen Mary.

Goofs
The Marine Corps did not have the rank of Master Sergeant during WWII. When Micklin is in his field uniform he is wearing Sergeant Major stripes, three chevrons with three lower stripes known as rockers. Micklin should have had the rank Master Technical Sergeant since he was an aircraft mechanic.
