Trivia
The transport aircraft carrying General MacArthur is a transport version of the famed B-25 Mitchell bomber of World War II. It was designated VB-25J. Generals Henry H. Arnold and Dwight D. Eisenhower both had one of these as a personal transport. The easiest way to tell this plane from a regular bomber version is that it does not have a gun turret on the top of the fuselage.
