    Final Interview

American television journalist Arlene Roskin (Kate Harper) comes to Jersey to try and persuade former television interviewer Howard Bailey (Barry Foster) to come out of retirement to interview mafioso Tony Abbalini, because only Bailey knows where Abbalini is. However, Bergerac is suspicious and thinks Arlene may not be who she says she is.

The opening episode of the fourth season is entertaining, if uninspired. There's several changes: Bergerac has a new girlfriend, estate agent Susan Young (Louise Jameson); Crozier's secretary Charlotte has been replaced by Peggy Masters (Nancy Mansfield); and Diamante Lil has a new nightclub.

Barry Foster is a good guest star, but the actors playing the mafia hitmen are not very good. 2.5/5
