Jay Robinson as Julius Ceasar!
Worth a watch for the reprisal of Julius Ceasar by the actor who perhaps played him better than anyone in Hollywood history. Jay Robinson took quite a step down from his legendary portrayals of the maniacal Ceasar in the Robe and Demetrius and the Gladiators. But sadly, many actors find themselves taking what they can get as they age. For the episode itself, another one of the many tired Bewitched scenarios where a legendary figure of the past is conjured up to present day scenarios until the bumbling witch,in this case, Esmeralda, can figure out how to send him back. I gave this episode 7 out of 10 only for Jay Robinson fans only.
Very funny episode!
This is one of the classic Bewitched storylines they used numerous times where a figure from the past is zapped into the present, found out by Larry and Darrin and Samantha have to awkwardly explain. Despite being a storyline that's been used so many times, I really enjoy this one in particular and I find many of the lines in this episode comic genius
Dick S whines as Darrin
Although I grew up watching Bewitched in syndication, I still cannot get used to Dick S. I know that Dick York needed to leave because of his back but Dick S. Always seemed to whine as Darrin Stephens. I have seen Dick S. In other shows and he was better.

- GoofsJulius Caesar refers to himself as "your Emperor ". He also refers to himself as "imperator" which is more correct. He would not refer to himself as that though. It was Augustus who made that title the sole preserve of Roman emperors in the sense we know it. Also he takes great umbrage in reading he was made "dictator". In Republican Rome the title didn't have the despotic connotation it has in modern times.
