Love the title
OK, now who named a Brady Bunch episode "Marcia Gets Creamed?" Sounds like one of those naughty sexploitation films that were popular in the early seventies.
Technically, it's actually Jeff and his date who Marcia creams (with whipped cream) after Jeff tried (successfully) to make Marcia jealous. You see, Marcia had to keep breaking dates with Jeff due to work, school, and even hair washing (!) so Jeff had enough, and exacts his revenge.
Jeff is played by teen heartthrob Michael Gray (best known for the seventies Saturday morning show "Shazam!"), and his date is the gorgeous Kimberly Beck. Lucky guy!
There are a few subplots, like how lazy Peter needs (and gets) a job, and also where Alice and Mike go on a diet together. The real funny thing with this is, Carol especially tries to make Mike feel bad about the weight he has gained, but the guy is still very thin! Of course, this being just about fifty years ago, imagine what they would think of today's fatties, if Mike was actually considered as having a weight problem back then. My my my, how times have changed.
Still, if you're watching the Brady Bunch you probably know what to expect, and this is a good one.

HAVE I GOT A SWEET JOB FOR YOU!
Peter Baldwin, who was also directing CHICO AND THE MAN and BOB NEWHART at the time, headed this wacky episode.
Marcia, Peter and Jan land a job at the same ice cream shop. It all starts when Marcia, who is working long hours, needs some time off to go on a date. She recommends Peter, who appreciates the job, but is not what you would call efficient.... Jan enters the picture and proves to be the ideal worker. Never underestimate Jan!
Best scenes go to Pete, though, who is the slacker of the month, and it's kind of strange. If you remember his bike gig in the last season, he was a really good worker, although not mechanically inclined.
Henry Corden plays the owner of the shop, always looking for good help. Corden usually played bad guys on tv, but in a few years would succeed the late Alan Reed and play the new voice of FRED FLINTSTONE. Great trivia question.
Funny side story has Alice and Mike trying to lose weight --and fast! I agree with the last reviewer; Mike was rather trim. How much weight was he supposed to lose???
Yes, there is a little soap opera on the side. Marcia's boyfriend (Michael Grey) turns out to be unfaithful and has another gal friend. What a fink! At the time, Grey starred in the SHAZAAM adventure show.
Good memories from SEASON 5 EPISODE 7 remastered color ABC/Paramount dvd box set. This box set has a classic cover.

The Ice Cream Parlor Job
Marcia gets a part time job at an ice cream parlor.
A funny Season 5 episode. Peter is looking for a job also so Marcia gets him a job at the parlor too. He turns out to be a goof off so he gets fired. Then Jan gets the job and proves to be a great worker. Marcia is unable to go out with her boyfriend Jeff due to her working so much. There is a funny scene when he shows up at the parlor with another girl.
