    Men Vs Women Drivers

Marcia is going for her driver's test and bets Greg she will do better than he did.

A pretty good Season 5 episode. Herb Vigran plays the driving examiner, he was in several "Adventures Of Superman" episodes. There is a funny scene when Marcia goofs up the first test. A subplot has Jan worried about being on the debating team. Mike gives some advice about imagining the audience in their underwear. Another funny moment is Marcia's second crack at the road test when she imagines the examiner in his underwear.

    MARSHA HITS THE BRAKES!

We're always rooting for Marsha, but she has some tough times in this one. Again, another one of those "been there, done that..." episodes that's so high school relatable.

Time to take the much dreaded driving test.

On the written test, Marsha outscored Greg. Now comes the road test... and its a rocky road. Basically, Marsha panics, something that's all too common, especially with a strange guy sitting beside you, watching your every move.

The driving instructor is none other than funny man Herb Vigran. Yes, I agree with the last reviewer. He's best remembered playing trigger-happy villains in the SUPERMAN tv show. Most classic scene; Marsha see's Herb in his underwear? And he's REALLY sitting there in his undies!

The only debit is Marsha should have taken the car on the road with the instructor. Ya think? I think.

A T-riffic Brady guys vs. Brady gals episode, and with the ever cool red Chevy Impala. If you're in North Hollywood, the owners of the Brady house have parked a duplicate Chevy convertible in the driveway. They told me they found the car in Northern California, and it wasn't EZ to find that type of car after 50 years! It sure looks the same and it's a trip to see it. Brings back a ton of memories for all us 70s kids, and even the neighbors on the street.

Do not miss the "egg finale" of the driving test, thanks to Alice. An original scene if there ever was. How many takes (and eggs?) were there to get it just right?

From SEASON 5 EPISODE 15 remastered color ABC/Paramount dvd box set. 4 dvds. Released 2006. The entire series in a single box set, cool green shag rug or purple cover.
