    Knights of Liberty

Out of curiosity, I looked this up in Wikipedia, and from what I gathered, it was a group formed in 1846 for the purpose of abolishing slavery. I doubt this had anything to do with the other. Was this made up for the purpose of this show?

It's interesting how many people in the army believe Jason is innocent, yet nobody seems to do anything about it. Granted, Jason wants it that way in order to protect an "old friend," but still...By the way, we don't hear anything about that story line anymore. Now it's just the army cheated him...Funny how the story's changed from Season 1 to Season 2.

    • Trivia
Per the title, in Greek mythology the Golden Fleece is the fleece of the winged ram Chrysomallos from the tale of Jason and the Argonauts, who set out on a quest for the Fleece in order to place Jason rightfully on the throne of Iolcus in Thessaly.
    • Quotes

Major Meade: I want to thank you again... for myself, for the army, and for the United States treasury.

Jason McCord: Well, I guess the gold is important, but smashing an outfit like the Knights of Liberty may do a lot more good in the long run. You know, men like that don't really threaten us. They certainly do dirty us.

Major Meade: Well, sometimes we do a little dirtying ourselves... as in your case. I'll be reporting to President Grant. Any message?

Jason McCord: Yes. Tell him it took seven years, but we finally won the Battle of Cemetery Ridge
