There are actually no Irish in this episode. The plot is only about a gun smuggling business towards Northern Ireland to provide guns and ammo to Catholic fighters against the Crown. So, this is a simple investigation tale after the police force found out that there was a weapon traffic in the vicinity. A man suspected to be involved in this traffic is killed and his widow asks the police to find the murderer. But it appears that the woman "in distress" is not the person she is supposed to be. Nothing exciting here, just the common plot, not the best so far. I don't know if there was really a gun smuggling traffic between Europe thru France towards Ireland in those 1913 days. Maybe, after all...
