This story is an obvious indictment against corrupted politicians who deal with gangsters; Corsican mobsters in particular. In this episode I am amazed by the performance of Michel Fortin. He had a face, a presence, that would have permitted him to have far better roles. He is excellent here. But his character is too"short". I like this episode very much. It is tense, rough, and the casting over the top, above average. It is a rare quality episode of this TV show. Not light hearted for sure. The twenties atmosphere is very well made. I am sure historians would love such a TV show. Terrific female character: Rita.
