    Borrowed glory

Bronco finds himself involved in blackmail and murder when he takes a job as deputy with a war hero -Lloyd Stover- who rescued him from a lynching. He discovers that Lloyd, who won the Congressional Medal of Honor during the war, may in fact not deserve it.

The truth is that Lloyd took the medal of honour from a dead soldier. The reason: to impress the town folk, to stand above his brother Frank who stayed at home during the war, making his fortune, and most of all to make his girlfriend Nancy Currier proud - but Nancy Currier is now engaged to Frank ...

Things get ropey when Lloyd runs into Dick Nelson who has a scarred left cheek. Lloyd is stunned cause Nelson he is the dead man he stole the Medal of Honor from. Bronco finds the sheriff's killers but finds Nelson is involved along with blackmail.

Blackmail, false hero, living up to a big brother and the bitter man out to collect - what a gripping episode, had me on the edge of the seat. You just knew that William Reynolds as Nelson is a bitter and twisted man with blackmail in mind. Great performance by Robert Vaughn as Lloyd.
