    Four Guns and a Prayer

Bronco takes the job of Sheriff at Cottonwood not realizing that the Garnet brothers have taken over resulting in several murders. Bronco tells the mayor that he needs a freehand to choose his deputies or else he can find another man. The Mayor says yes and Bronco gladly takes the badge, especially after being ridiculed by Garnet's men.

Bronco hires deputies who happen to be have notorious reputation as gunfighters. The town is accepting of them after they clean out the Garnet gang but Aaron Lake is unhappy when the young Jamie Ringgold (Johnny Ringo's son) takes an interest in his daughter Marcy. He's also not keen on having gunfighters as deputies ... he writes an article exposing the deputies as hired killers.

When Jamie kills Dave Garnet, his brother vows vengeance on the town just as the three deputies are planning to settle in Cottonwood. Lake, however, demands to vote for the deputies to hand in their badges. Before they do so, they have a showdown with Garnet.

Bronco tames a town but not without help - Douglas Kennedy, Gary Vinson and Walter Barnes play the deputies and they are entertaining enough. It's a standard town taming take bolstered by a poignant ending and some slam bang action at the end.
