The Turning Point

While on the trail Bronco comes upon a man suffering hallucinations after being bit by a rattlesnake. After treating the bite and staying with the man for a couple of days until he recovers, Bronco and the man calling himself Gary Williams head to Plainview but for different reasons. Bronco plans to homestead while Gary Williams is headed there to visit family. He also plans to file a homestead with Bronco.

In Plainview Bronco learns Williams is really John Wesley Hardin known as a killer. After killing a man who drew first, the local Sheriff wants Hardin out of the town but Bronco promises to keep Hardin in check but no one realizes what Hardin is up against due to his family who minister to the public.

Well-plotted episode with Bronco trying to help John Wesley Hardin- he's the misunderstood gunfighter trying to change his life. Scott Marlowe who plays the gunfighter does a fine job.
