    Bad plot device

The series could have done without the trio at all. This episode focusing on Andrew is agonising. It's hard to tell sometimes with his acting and Anya's if they're bad actors or their characters are meant to be like that. This was the most grating episode so far. Poor attempt at humour and at being meta. Not good. The principal isn't a great add in either. Ridiculously simple solution at the end.

A series for Andrew? It's a "no" from me

The Trio always annoyed me, and Andrew still does. This episode jumping from his "story" to events "off-camera" didn't work for me either. There were good moments (the kitchen stuff) but overall didn't work for me.

    The Old Documentary Bit

Andrew has a video camera and decides to make Buffy immortal. He follows her to graveyards. Noses in on her when she is on the phone. He is a real nuisance. Once again, this seem idiotic because there is evil afoot. There are some interesting interactions and rekindled romances. For the first time Andrew admits that he killed his best friend. He listened to Warren. This documentary thing has been done a few times, especially when an old guy tires of waiting for things to unfold. We end up at the high school over the pit where all the evil lurks. Principaal Wood actually tries to kill Spike, but is too slow and there are heavy distractions.

    • Trivia
Tom Lenk named this as his favourite episode. "I just got to make such an ass out of myself. It was so much fun. Dancing in a toga on a hillside singing with unicorns was pretty embarrassing. I don't do that sort of thing ever in my down time. So, I just had so much fun doing it".
    • Goofs
In the scene when Andrew is talking to The First/Warren in Mexico, he's barefooted or wearing slippers from cut to cut.
    • Quotes

Anya: For God's sakes, Andrew. You've been in here for 30 minutes. What are you doing?

      Andrew Wells: Entertaining and educating.

Anya: Well, why can't you just masturbate like the rest of us?

    • Crazy credits
The mutant enemy sings, "We are as gods!" quoting from a fantasy sequence in that episode involving an idyllic Greco Roman after-life.
