    One Of The Best Episodes

Q&A, Carol says Gloria Swanson is the guest, shows a clip of Carol as Nora Desmond, then the final scene from Sunset Blvd. Gloria Swanson comes out with Lyle, she talks more to him than Carol.

The first sketch is one of the best Carol & Sis ones. Carol invites Jim the lovesick elevator operator (Jim Connell) to dinner. Roger is angry and tries to set him straight. Chrissy has a few barbs for Roger.

Gloria Swanson sings New Fangled Tango with the dancers.

An Old Folks sketch has Bert talking to Molly about golf. They sing a nice song Old Isn't Easy To Be.

One of the best musical moments has Carol and Vicki singing If Momma Was Married from Gypsy. Harvey plays Momma at the end.

Harvey plays a married man having an affair trying to hide it from his clueless wife Carol. He thinks she asks to many questions. Funny punchline.

The Charwoman comes into the film storage room. A projector comes on with Gloria Swanson playing Charlie Chaplin. The charwoman walks into the screen and becomes part of the film. Funny scene of Lyle and Vicki as a rich couple that Chaplin and the charwoman try to copy. A touching ending and Carol sings a song about silent movies.

Carol talks about pollution, thanks Paramount for the use of the Sunset Blvd clip, plugs current release Scalawag. Swanson and Connell sign her book.
