    One Of Season 8's Best

Q&A Carol announces Smothers Brothers and Telly Savalas are the guests. Some questions about Carol having the same measurements as Cher and being mistaken for Raquel Welch.

The Smothers Brothers sing a madrigal song, Dick scolds Tommy for not singing the fa la las.

A very funny Family sketch has Tommy as Eunice's brother in the hospital awaiting minor surgery. Ed gets sick in hospitals and Mama arrives as a surprise. Funniest scene when Vicki accidentally knocks Tommy's wig loose.

Telly talk/sings a song Rubber Bands and Bits of String.

Harvey and Telly play businessmen cancelling a merger sounding like wounded lovers. Harvey makes Telly crack up a few times.

Some TV commercial spoofs include Carol testing coffee for richness and Harvey and Dick a band aid ad. Carol has a funny one about sinus headaches.

A very funny spoof of the movie Algiers with Telly in the Charles Boyer part called Poopi Le Moko here. Harvey does a Peter Lorre accent. Carol is the Hedy Lamarr part. Telly has a funny death scene where spoofs his Kojak character.

Carol mentions pollution, sings her theme, guests sign her book.

    • Trivia
Series announcer Ernie Anderson makes a rare on-camera appearance on this show as a doctor who tends to Tom Smothers in the hospital at the start of "The Family" sketch.
    • Goofs
It is very obvious that Telly Savalas is reading cue cards placed left and right of screen, when doing his first skit at the restaurant about The Merger, with Harvey Korman. He barely looks at him, spends most of his acting time reading the cue cards while his character mouthes the words at Harvey.
