    Good Season 5 Show

No Q&A, Carol just says the guests are Steve Lawrence and Carol Channing.

Carol introduces Steve Lawrence, mentioning he had just guested on Medical Center. He sings In My Own Lifetime from the show The Rothchilds.

Next is a Carol & Sis sketch without Chris. Roger takes Carol to a nudist colony. Many funny moments with Carol shocked by the nudity. She also finds out Roger's client has a sexy blonde wife. Roger convinces Carol to go nude but she ends up in poison ivy.

Carol Channing sings a medley of non contemporary songs like Ain't Misbehavin'. You're the Cream In My Coffee and Button Up Your Overcoat helped by the dancers.

A funny As The Stomach Turns. Channing is a bad luck lady named Jinx. Harvey hilarious as a faith healer and Steve as a guy with crutches he tries to heal.

A salute to Oscar winning movies. Vicki is Barbara Stanwyck in Sorry Wrong Number. Channing as an actress accepting an award but has a long speech for a running joke. Steve as Paul Muni's Oscar winning role of Louis Pasteur. The African Queen has Carol and Steve doing funny impressions of Hepburn and Bogart. Next a salute to silent film comics with Carol as Buster Keaton and Steve and Harvey as Laurel and Hardy as rival ice cream sellers.

Carol mentions pollution. Sings her theme and the guests sign her book.

    • Goofs
Both Carols (Burnett and Channing) are characters in the soap-opera spoof, "As the Stomach Turns". Burnett's character is Marian, and Channing plays Jinx (because she brings bad luck wherever she goes). At one point, Channing says to Burnett, "Oh, Jinx, I'm so unhappy" - mistakenly assigning her own character name to Burnett. In all other lines, she correctly calls Burnett "Marian".
