- Prue: I don't know. You know, I've been, I've been mad at you for so long, ever since mom died, I don't know how else to be.
- The Angel of Death: You grieve... and then you move on.
- The Angel of Death: [laughs incredulously] You still don't get it do you? There's nothing you can do.
- Prue: I can't just let an innocent man die!
- The Angel of Death: You have to let him die, you have no choice. And until you can learn to accept that, you'll just keep missing the bigger picture.
- Prue: What bigger picture?
- The Angel of Death: Here, I'll show you.
- [He extends his hand, which Prue regards warily. Death smiles slightly]
- The Angel of Death: Oh, don't worry: it's not your time. Or not just yet, anyway.
- [Prue takes Death's hand and they vanish]
- The Angel of Death: It's not my time you're wasting. It's yours. You refuse to accept me for what I am, which keeps you from mourning me.
- Prue: You don't know me. You don't know anything about me.
- The Angel of Death: But I've seen it so many times before. The anger. The pain. You lock up your tears and angerly steel yourself against me as if I was ultimate evil.
- Prue: You are the ultimate evil.
- The Angel of Death: No. I'm not good or evil. I just am. I am inevitable.
