    • Trivia
The owner of the Hungry Heifer is played by Sheldon Leonard. In addition to being one of the best known tough-guy character actors in movie and TV history, he also produced some of the most popular situation comedies ever. This role marked the next to last role he ever played. At the time he was a very youthful-looking 83 years old. Coincidentally, his most famous film role was as the bar owner in It's a Wonderful Life (1946).
    • Goofs
Norm says that he's been going to the Hungry Heifer since he was in college. However, when the restaurant was first mentioned in Season 2 it was described as being new.
    • Quotes

Woody Boyd: How would a beer feel, Mr. Peterson?

Norm Peterson: Pretty nervous when I'm in the room.

    • Alternate versions
In DVD and later syndication prints (i.e. remaster), a different song instead of "I Fought the Law" is played.
    • Connections
Featured in The 43rd Annual Primetime Emmy Awards (1991)
    • Soundtracks
      I Fought The Law
