The waterpark scenes were filmed at Wild Rivers Waterpark in Irvine, CA. The park was torn down in 2011 by the Irvine Company to make room for an apartment complex.

In the first scene after the opening credits, when Hal is getting his back shaved, The feet, legs, and right sides of two crew members are visible on the right of the screen.
