Worthy of being in season 1 or 2

I would have given this a 6.5 but IMDb doesn't allow half points so..., at any rate it was a good episode.

Solid acting with believable bad guys, much of which is due to the entertaining story line but, it didn't hurt that they hired guest stars that could act. The main guest acting was well above average and several of the bad guys in this episode were recognizable from earlier episodes and other shows(Victor Rivers, Julio Oscar Mechoso & Reni Santoni) which is good since it always helps when someone can pull off a potentially corny line with conviction and believability. This is something many of the episodes of season 3 were lacking.

Something I really missed was a nice pulse driven song at the emotionally charged climax of the episode, which it didn't really have. A climax that is. Or much emotion for that matter. But hey, every show can't be "Out Where the Buses Don't Run".

    Superficial

Well, to refer to an earlier reviewer as to what I consider makes a good episode...lots of action and preferably including some emotional depth (and not of the romantic variety). Sadly this one had neither and I'm starting to wonder if I watched the same one as the other reviewers. Or maybe they were in a charitable mood. It was far from being one of the best MV episodes- some have been superb, even more have been so good that they would bear repeated watching- this was neither. Mediocre plot and script, performances that could have been phoned in. I've come to expect better than routine uninteresting stuff like this from both writers and actors.

    • Goofs
In the closing shot, the film clip is flipped - you can see that the letters on the building are backwards and the arrangement of buildings is backwards as well. After the scene at the food bank with Crockett and Tubbs, the camera tilts upward, and the buildings are in the correct order with the letters forward.
