Dennis Dugan, who directed this episode - and has directed several episodes of Moonlighting in the past - plays a character named "Cy," whose face remains unseen. David and Maddie go to Cy when they learn their show is being canceled. The role of "Cy," however, is not attributed to Dugan, but to "Walter Bishop," a character Dugan played in an earlier season of Moonlighting.
