The Trick Is to Stay Alive - Season 1 Episode 5

Title: Movin' On - The Trick Is to Stay Alive - Season 1 Episode 5

    Director: Michael O'Herlihy

Details: Action Drama; Release date (October 10, 1974)

Starring: Claude Akins, Frank Converse, Marilyn Hassett, James Keach, Aldo Ray

Synopsis: After discovering a bullet riddled car, Will and Sonny get caught up with two prison escapees when they try to report the incident.

Quick Review: The guys get more than they bargained for when they meet up with a psychotic criminal couple (Marilyn Hasett {as in whatever happened to?} and James Keach who both give completely over-the-top, untrammeled performances. Aldo Ray is also along for the ride. Murder, action, suspense. Best of the series to this point.

    Rating: B+

While Will and Sonny are working on the truck another trucker who is stops and asks if they need help. They discuss him hauling lettuce and Will and Sonny hauling tomatoes and that they are both going to the same destination in Astoria. After being assured that they are all right the trucker says I'll see you in Astoria and he leaves. The well meaning trucker is, however, traveling in the exact opposite direction that Will and Sonny were.
