I'm not the only one who likes travelling

I don't know when I first seen this episode of Mr. Bean yet I remember videotaping it when it was on the TV after Keeping Up Appearances special: The Memoirs of Hyacinth Bucket.

Part 1 had classic moments when Mr. Bean tries revive the man, who got a heart-attack, with mouth-to-mouth resuscitation, breaking open the cap of pills with his mouth (think broke his teeth), and then defibrillate him by using the jump leads attached to the lamppost, haha.

Then he sneakily used the ambulance's battery to jumpstart his Mini car. He tries to post a letter but someone swallows a postage stamp. Got sticky sweet in his jacket pocket from previous episode.

He accidentally gets locked in the letterbox is highlight (quite like he got stuck in the dryer in launderette in another episode) and no telling how long stuck in there for.

I don't why he somewhat his car keys and loses his car keys down the sewer drain.

Part 2 starts with packing his suitcase using smallest pair of shorts, and breaking his toothbrush, using a flannel for a towel.

Then he's with a laughing man on the train to unwell boy on the airplane ride.

Boy on airplane only realised he felt queasy from turbulence and vomits in sickness bag - that was also used in the 1997 Bean movie (only this time, the screen cuts to black, outcome ambiguous.

A funny end to the first series.

Mr Been tries to help a man who's having a heart attack, and plans for a holiday abroad.

All you can really say, is that such sweet, naive, innocent humour, sadly just no longer exists anymore. I don't think I knew a family that didn't sit down and enjoy Mr Bean, and whilst this isn't my favourite from series one, it's still very, very funny.

This episode felt pretty short, and at only 23 minutes long, it was, but credit where it's due, plenty was crammed in.

The scene with the ambulance is laugh out loud funny, as was the closing scene.

Atkinson, once again is incredibly physically funny, it's that walk. He makes it look easy, clearly it wasn't.

    8/10.

    • Trivia
The end credits of this episode is one of two to perform a volte-face: showing the reverse of the opening titles where Mr. Bean is sucked back into the sky, and the only one to do so with the street scenery. The first episode to do this was The Curse of Mr. Bean (1991), except the black and white title sequence was used.
    • Goofs
The sweet from the Church appears to be stuck inside Mr. Bean's left pocket when it was original placed in his right pocket.
