NCIS

Edit

Continuity

When the victim's wallet and ID is first shown, there is a driver's license visible in the right side of the wallet. The next moment when it is being shown, the license is not visible at all.
In the last scene when the reporter is giving the report from the basketball court, it shows her holding the mic with the number 19 facing front then it cuts back and the mic shows the station facing front.

Miscellaneous

When the team is leaving for the crime scene, Kate calls, "Shotgun." Under the rules of Shotgun, she cannot call it unless she is in sight of the vehicle. Since they were still in the building, her call was invalid.

Character error

Near the end of the episode, the team makes reference to the Northeast blackout of 2003. Kate states that the blackout occurred on August 15th, but it actually started on August 14th. Kate also says that "all the Northeast and most of Canada was dark." Only about ten million people were without power in Canada during the blackout. Given that the population of Canada was roughly thirty-one million in 2003, ten million is not "most" of Canada, especially when you take into consideration that only one province (Ontario) was directly affected by the blackout.
