Good friends, amazing life.

In The Model Home, Ryan is taken to Seth's housing developments in an option to keep Ryan around but so that he doesn't have to lose his best friend. Marissa catches wind of their plan and tags along. It's really a great friendship episode as we can watch Seth belittle Marissa but still show compassion for her in the end.

Ryan is developed and we learn a little more about Marissa and Jimmy. We are revealed about Jimmy's secret and Marissa and Ryan begin to connect on a romantic level, while Seth still pines over Summer. Kirsten is trying to understand Sandy's need to play Dad for Ryan. It's got a lot of emotion in the episode, mixed with unanticipated amounts of dangerous drama.

Trivia
When Marissa, Ryan, and Seth are driving to the Model Home in Marissa's car, they are listening to the song 'I'm a Terrible Person' by 'Rooney'. In a future episode the gang will attend a Rooney concert.

Goofs
Jimmy says 1986 instead of 1988, due to an overdub. This was most likely changed due to the age of Marissa and 1986 lines up properly to Julie being pregnant with Marissa. Even though the ages of the characters are an ongoing continuity error.
