    A True Classic

Uncle Albert's birthday looms on the horizon, and Del Boy books The Nag's Head for private drinks and a party.

Trigger surprises everyone by inviting a date he met through an agency. This arouses Del's curiosity and soon he too has a date from the match-making company.

Rodney takes the initiative by going for the 'James Dean' look, though this ends in disaster due to an encounter with some punks.

TriggerThings look rosy for Del though. His date with Raquel Turner (unemployed actress) goes swimmingly... until it turns out she works as a stripper-gram twice a week. Despite a small run in with the police, love conquers all in the end.

If I Was Dressed Like That: I'd Want a Scotch!!

Everything in this episode is there for a reason, to help tell the story. There's a lot happening in this one and none of the 80 minute runtime feels like filler. Things that happen in the early scenes come back and effect things later in the story. Makes for a much tighter script than we're used to seeing.

The first appearance of Raquel as Del's love interest.

The story is great; the performances are great. It's just an all-round blast. It's amazing to think that the show would go on to get even better than this but somehow it did. But this is still a great episode.

    Brilliant!!

    • Quotes

Boycie: A couple of years ago I went down the local library and read some ancient manuscripts written by the Elders of Peckham. Did you know, five hundred years ago this was a green and peaceful area? The old Earl of Peckham had a castle where the Kwik-Fit exhaust centre now stands. Flaxon-haired maidens used to dance round the village maypole of an evening. And then one fateful medieval day, the Trotter clan arrived in a stolen Zephyr. Before you knew it the flaxen-haired maidens were up the spout, the old Earl had been sold some hooky armour, and someone nicked the maypole! A hundred years after that the Black Death arrived in England. The people of Peckham thought their luck had changed.
