THE best episode of the series

I'm not going to pretend ive seen Every episode of this series. Despite liking sci fi I find much of the series not very interesting, Especially stretched out to its hour long duration.

But I'm also a fan of true crime. Mix that with my favorite sci-fi trope of time travel And you have this episode.

Wonderful cast of Plummer and Forbes. Provocative story as the best sci fi is.

Superbly laid out science fiction; keeps you thinking!

Trust me; you will enjoy this production. It is a well-written, well acted episode. It is one of the best ever science fiction offerings! You don't need to know anything about the story to love it. Just go along for the ride!! You probably should see it twice to enjoy everything about it. It stars stunning Michelle Forbes and veteran actress Amanda Plummer. Forbes retains that special "something" that we all love about her! Of course Amanda takes a back seat to no one in the acting department! As you will see; her complex and intense performance is outstanding! The director of course deserves a lot credit for putting together a smoothly crafted highly entertaining product.

I don't want to explain the plot or anything because you will enjoy it more by letting it unfold in front of you!(I did and I was blown away!) I loved the little twists and turns in the story and also the "rules" the plot is governed by.

Of course you will like it most and understand the plot thoroughly if you like science fiction to begin with.

I know it is fiction but it's my favorite! (I have both a DVD and a High Def copy of it) Check it out for yourself! You won't be disappointed

P.S. You audiophiles out there will notice something in the production (that only we will notice)but We forgive them for doing it nevertheless.

    Duff.

    Original, timeless, seamless

Seeing this in 1996 it had become my all time favorite episode. Michelle Forbes and Amanda Plummer knocked it out of the park. Very difficult to make a time travel story near "seamless". Since then only one other episode has equaled or exceeded ( personal opinion) this one. That episode is of course "Tribunal" starring Saul Rubinek (season 5).

Between the two, Tribunal is more heart wrenching and leaves more of a lump in one's throat, so get the nod, IMHO, but no other Outer Limits episodes, old series or new, even come close to these two.

These were borh rated 8.3 on some metric, and the next closest was 81, but really not at all in same league.

    Cool

Cool story, way before the minority report too! But god dam didn't they know about bras back then? Like the 16th thing I've watched from the 90s and the headlights are on full beam 😬

    One of the best episodes

This episode is one of the best time travel TV episodes of all time of any series, comparable to Dr Who's Blink in quality and time travel concepts.

The acting is exceptional. Plummer gets all the kudos, but Forbes deserves as much praise.

Jamie Pratt: [Time portal opening] Even if this were possible, why would anyone do such a thing?

Dr. Theresa Givens: An opportunity to kill the killers before they can kill. What the hell could be Wrong with that?

Jamie Pratt: But - but you are talking about killing innocent men. They haven't done anything.

      Dr. Theresa Givens: They would've!
