Glitch

Once again, those nasty military guys have taken a project that was designed to help mankind, and refocused it in terms of their own agendas. Granted, creating Androids that could engage or subvert the enemy, go into places where a human would be in danger, are noble enough, I suppose. The problem is what we would call the soul (whatever that is). The now dead creator of these things (played by Jack Klugman) has imbued his progeny with self awareness, and while the memories present in them are programmed into them, they are beginning to have self awareness. They feel emotionally. They are also left out of the equation. This is a good effort showing how cybernetics could get out of hand and how hard it might be to reign it in. It's always entertaining when the bad guys get inconvenience in their efforts to do evil.
