Old West redemption, with aliens

I grew up on the original series in the 60's. Personally I think this episode is much better than many of the OS, and is one of my favorites of the new series. The acting is very good and the story is as good as most movies you see today. If you've ever seen the movie Chronicle you'll see a lot of similarities. Worth the viewing.

Trivia
Ben says of an express car, "Split her open like a can of Arbuckle." Brothers John and Charles Arbuckle went into the coffee business in the 1860s, and in 1868, John patented a formula for an egg-based glaze that coated coffee beans, protecting them from the air. This allowed them to be the first merchants to sell packaged coffee. The Arbuckles sold packaged coffee under the Ariosa brand, which was popular in the western frontier, gaining the motto: "The Coffee that won the West".

This episode takes place in the Oregon Territory in 1872. However, the Oregon Territory ceased to exist when Oregon was admitted it to the Union on February 14, 1859.
