Nicole destroys any hope of this episode coming off

The script feels quite simplistic and lacks depth. The storyline revolves around a character who stubbornly refuses to confront the broader implications of violence and suffering inflicted by true villains. This repetitive narrative unfolds as Nicole tries to express genuine emotion, but unfortunately, her performance doesn't quite land. Additionally, the plot misses an opportunity to explore a potentially interesting concept where characters only pretend to engage with their roles, leaving the story feeling somewhat unfinished. Nicole's performance suggests she might not yet be suited for such demanding roles, and perhaps exploring different career paths could be beneficial.

    What Are the Rules?

Robert Guillaume leads a group of psychics who the gift of telekinesis. They have been picked because he either has something on them or they have a vulnerable person in their lives. They have the task of killing evil dictators and terrorists by, as a unit, causing heart attacks or other deadly events. They are an odd mix of people. They are incredibly unfeeling and proud of their role, except for a pretty young woman whose brother, a two time felon, is being used as a means of extortion. The government is using her fear of what they will do to him to get her to act against her will. This is a really good setup. But now everything becomes a jumbled mess. A creature from their ids (or whatever-- remember "Forbidden Planet") has come to life and they can't control it. Guillaume is nuts and has something to do with this. The handsome Harry Hamlin is in the middle of this somewhere. He has become enchanted with the young woman, but what's going on with him. When this was over, I was scratching my head. I never understood where the threat originated. You have to set up some rules for your audience or we don't know where to direct our attention. It's as if they could never figure out what to do.
