    Absolutely terrible

Worst episode of the series so far with a few in a row involving the military. How they got those actors to say those cheesy lines in this ridiculous plot is a mystery.

I Wanted to Leave My Body

It's not terrible, but this episode is so full of holes that anyone with a modicum of thought would say, "What!!!!" This is about a research scientist who has done research on chimpanzees, supposedly killing them and then monitoring their experiences (they're pretty sure the little guys actually left their bodies). They are trying to get money to continue their research but reach a stumbling block when a fundamentalist Christian asks them what their moral code is. He believes they are flying in the face of God. Because the young woman is driven and finds it ridiculous that religion and science must clash, she messes up the meeting. Because time is precious and the lab still available, she decides to go it solo. Unfortunately, she depends on her ditzy lab assistant to do the right thing when she gets into the chamber. This woman has been approached by the religious guy and has "sold her soul" to him (I'm sorry. I couldn't resist). Anyway, during the experiment, this woman allows her to go way beyond the parameters of the current experimentation. She is left in a persistent vegetative state as her body floats around, unseen by others (remember Patrick Swayze in "Ghost"). So as time goes by she must find a way to make her presence known. It has some interesting stuff going on, but there are questions about why and how things happen. Why is she so careless in her activities? And does this promote a kind of fundamentalism?
