    Chuckles the Clown did it!!

Ha! I thought my summary might get your attention. This is because the murderer who commits several in this episode is played by Mark Gordon...the same actor who once played Chuckles the Clown on "The Mary Tyler Moore Show"!

The story begins with a guy going to Petrocelli's office for a will. Part of it includes leaving an envelope with Petrocelli with instructions who to give it to when he dies. Not surprisingly, soon this guy is dead...and so is the guy to whom Petrocelli is to give the print-out. There is a guy who claims to be a government agent who wants the envelope...but Petrocelli doesn't know what to do...so he slugs him!! What's next? See the show.

This episode is one of the least lawyer-like of any in the series. There is no court case and much of the time, Petrocelli is playing an action hero. This isn't necessarily bad, as the formula for most episodes is simply too 'by the books'...too formulaic. A nice change of pace here...and one worth seeing.

    • Trivia
As the series was winding down due to its lower than desired ratings, this is yet another action packed episode which contains very little legal work done by Tony as a lawyer. He does make up a friend's will, and in time he will have to give an envelope eventually given by his friend to someone after the friend's death. However, that is the extent of the legal duties. There are no flashbacks or alternative avenues to follow once again.
